Carer Counselling & Wellbeing Service

Carer Counselling & Wellbeing Service

In partnership with an independent provider, Lanarkshire Carers offer counselling and wellbeing services to carers.

This service is a short focused intervention that can help you to achieve personal outcomes that might be important to you and manage the day-to-day demands of your caring role.

The counselling and wellbeing service is an integral part of our outcome-based services and preventative approach. This service will help you as a carer to meet outcomes identified as part of your Adult Carer Support Plan (ACSP) conversations. You can use this service to discuss a range of topics including coping with your caring role, maintaining or improving your health and wellbeing, reducing the impact on relationships, work, education, financial impact and future planning.

There are also a range of useful self-help wellbeing resources available.

In addition to this service, we work in partnership with a range of local services who offer similar support and can signpost or refer carers to these services if they are more suited to their needs.
